The standard line I get is "we're too busy and too tired." It's justified to an extent, it's hard to make it on one income in America, and everyone, particularly mothers, is stretched by the demands of the job like never before. However, everyone seems to find the time for sports, the gym, hobbies, shopping, etc. So despite time pressures, it still comes down to where loyalties lie. You have that problem in the Philippines too!? But you got my point. Sometimes some groups consider themselves as the "true" Christians because they have the "right" doctrine or theology. There are differences, but we're serving one God. And we should bound by love (instead of fighting who's right or wrong). Yes, it is good to talk about it, but when it causes division and destruction, it is not good anymore. I believe there is.
