My thoughts about life, family, tech, church, and God.

Learning the guitar….

I’ve been playing the guitar since 1999. It started out as curiosity and then after a few months, I was involved in the music ministry of my former church. Actually, I started playing bass guitar. but when our guitarist left the church, I took over and played the guitar.

I am a music lover, that’s  why I play guitar. But there are hindrances in my guitar studies. First, I can’t sing. I’m a bad singer. Second, and the biggest hindrance, I didn’t give time to study guitar.

After 8 years of playing the guitar, the only scale that I know is Major and Minor Pentatonic scale. I listen to guitar instrumentals. I try to study, but my patience is short. I want it instant. I don’t want to study. I bought some materials for guitar, and downloaded some resources, but I don’t read it. I have time, but I didn’t used that time in studying guitar.

Now, I am experiencing the negative effects of not studying guitar properly. So, I really need to do the things I should have done long ago, study guitar properly.
